教學內容：Unit 1 The Great Wall
學習任務：These postcards are great!
It’s a picture of the Great Wall .
功 能：
講述關於某個地方或某件事物的情況。
教學過程：
一、熱身複習：
（How are you ,boys and girls?Welcome back to school）
2、老師可以詢問學生們在假期裏都去了哪些地方，做了哪些事情，有沒有特別有趣的經歷。
（Where did you go in summer holiday? What did you do in summer holiday ?Have you got interesting things to tell me ?）
3、建議他們通過展示圖片和照片介紹相關的情況，可以使用句型“It’s a picture of ,It’s very .”等。
二、任務呈現與課文導入：
1、老師從學生的圖片或照片中選取比較典型的並提問：“Do you know this place?”引導全班學生自由回答。
2、回答完畢後，老師總結：These photos are great .
出示長城的明信片，複習單詞postcard . 老師問：Do you know this place ? 引導學生回答：Yes ,it’s the Great wall . It’s a picture of the Great Wall .老師再問：Is it long or short ? It’s long .
3、告訴學生：在這個暑假裏，Daming 去了美國旅遊，並在那裏經歷了很多有趣的事情。剛到表哥Simon家，行李還沒有收拾好，Daming 和Simon就迫不及待的聊開了。
三、課文教學：
1、將本課的掛圖貼在黑板上，播放錄音，呈現SB活動1，讓學生看書，聽聽Daming 和Simon 的對話，聽完之後，讓學生説一説：Who is Simon ? Where is Daming ? What are they doing ?
2、讓學生打開書，放錄音，學生邊聽邊看書，勾畫出課文中的生詞。 教師講解單詞：
Postcard more thousand kilometre million Mexico Canada
3、再放錄音，讓學生勾出文中的重要信息，引導學生回答以下問題：
（1）明信片上畫的是哪裏？ （2） 關於長城、紐約和北京，他們都談了些什麼？
4、講解課文重點句型：
1. These postcards are great .
2. It’s a picture of the Great Wall .
3. How long is the Great Wall ? It’s about six thousand seven hundred kilometers .
4. How big is Beijing ? It has got eight million people .
5、把全班分成兩組，表演對話。
四、課堂練習：
1、全班完成AB練習1。
2、老師帶領學生共同完成SB活動3的遊戲。

學習任務：Where is New York ? It’s here, in the east .
Canada is north of America and Mexico is south of America.
功 能： 講述某地的地理位置和相關的.基本信息。
教學過程：
一、複習：
1、老師出示一張中國地圖。與學生進行交流：並進行介紹：
What’s this ?(It’s a map of China.) Yes, it’s a map of China .I’m from Beijing . it's in the north of China.
2、向學生提問：
Where are you from ? Where is it on the map?Please find it on the map.
二、任務呈現與課文導入：
1、出示Simon的圖片，提問：Who is he ? (he’s Simon . He’s Daming’s cousin .)
Where is he from? (He’s from Now York , America.)
板書New York Where is New York?
2、出示美國地圖。提問： This is a map of America ,Can you find New York? 引導學生在圖上找到紐約的位置。
三、課文教學：
1、在地圖上標註east ,west ,south h .幫助學生複習這些單詞，老師領讀。鞏固單詞。
讓學生根據老師的口令作工作。Turn to the north .
Turn to the south . Turn to the east . Turn to the west
2、放錄音，讓學生邊聽邊看SB第二單元活動1的地圖。把錄音中提到的幾處美國城市名稱和周邊國家名稱寫在黑板上幫助學生理解。再放錄音，讓學生跟讀。

3、帶領學生學習表達地理位置的方法。
Where is New York ? It’s in the east of America .
What about San Francisco ? It’s in the west of America.
4、老師教授第二種位置表達法。
Where is Canana ? It’s north of America . Where is Mexico ? It’s south of America.
總結：加拿大和墨西哥在美國領土以外，而紐約和舊金山是美國的一部分，在美國境內，所以兩種表達法有所不同。
5、把全班分成兩組，看活動一的圖進行對話練習。
四、課文學習：
1、SB 第二單元活動4，讓學生熟悉韻詩的大致內容，向學生講解不理解的內容。
2、全班一起完成AB 第二單元練習3 。聽錄音，根據錄音判斷練習中的陳述是否正確。
