Greet the class as usual and check the homework.

·Step Ⅱ Section A

Show a chart on the screen.

Problem

I want to buy a new guitar but

I don’t have enough money. Advice

1.  Wait until next year.

2.  Don’t buy a guitar.

3.  Borrow one.

4.  Buy a used guitar.

5. Get a part-time job.

And tell students what my problem is.

Ask students to give advice.

Then write the words should,could and shouldn’t on the the problem to the class again and help the class give advice using the words should,could and shouldn’at each piece of advice to help students understand it.

Tell students in this unit we’re going to talk about prblems people have and learn how to give these people advice-to tell people what we think they should do.

Show the new wrods on the the new words

and ask students to sure that students

understand the meanings of the new words.

Now pleas open your books at page 10.

Look at activity 1a please.

Point to the probiems and ask five students to read the problems to the class.

Sa: My parents want me to stay at home every night.

Sb: My brother plays his stereo too loud.

Sc: I don’t have enough money.

Sd: I argued with my best friend.

Readeachsentence again and ask students to repeat it.

Ask students to explain in their own words what each sentence means. They xan poin to parts of the picture,use actions,simple drawings on the board and simple sentences.

Now talk about the answers with the class.

This class we’ve learned some key vocabulary. And we’ve learnt how to give somebody advice if he or she has some you are interested in jioning all kinds of activities in class,you’ll make great progress.

Please ask your parents or friends what problems they have in

order to see if you can give then some good advice.
