一、説教材及作用

《Whose dress is this?》是牛津小學英語4B的第六單元。這是一片關於談論東西的主人的課文,文中以化粧舞會為背景,從蘇海和蘇洋為化粧舞會做準備入手,到舞會上談論服裝的主人及服裝的具有創意的特點的有趣的話題。在本課的教學中,除了要讓學生掌握最基本的句型Whose…is this? Whose…are these? 外,對這類句型的回答也要作為教學重點來突破。因此,採用任務型教學法,讓學生通過看卡通回答問題的形式來展開,之後用一首朗朗上口的英語兒歌Whose puppy is this?來鞏固和反饋學生對本課重點的掌握程度,最後還讓學生自己根據兒歌的節奏創編一首複數形式的兒歌來達到學以致用的效果。最後還結合學生參加化粧舞會,並且談論自己的服裝及Lisa在萬聖節化粧舞會上的滑稽裝束來拓展應用了重點句型,這樣學生就會在濃厚的興趣中體驗學習的快樂,也能通過自己的實踐、探索、閲讀等來拓寬他們的視野。體現了小組合作學習在課堂上的.應用。所有這些活動都是為了突破課文的重難點服務的。

本課的教學能根據學生的認知規律,温故而知新。讓學生先複習以前學過的關於服裝類的單詞,通過一首英語歌曲A clothes shop讓學生在欣賞歌曲的同時導入新課,以為什麼那個男人買了那麼多衣服來引出本課的主題,參加化粧舞會。在此之後通過倒計時的形式讓學生在30秒內説出不同的服裝的單詞及形容詞,這樣的任務既有趣味,又能鍛鍊學生的傾聽的能力和反應能力。在教學過程中每個任務的佈置都以學生為中心。讓他們自主學習,發現複數形式服裝類單詞的特點,自己用學過的語言來組詞造句,以達到更好地操練的效果。

在本課時的教學中,力求提高學生的綜合素養,從聽説讀寫入手,讓學生進行玩演、視聽,從最基本的詞彙和句型逐步拓展應用。在本課的教學中為學生拓展了關於服裝類地單詞、拓展了重點句型的實際應用及兒歌欣賞最後還自己創編兒歌;拓寬了學生的視野,以化粧舞會為背景,讓學生欣賞英語歌曲.,讓學生在欣賞歌曲地同時陶冶情操,並且談論歌曲中的一隻大肥貓,用上本課所學句型,It’s too…來描述這隻滑稽的貓;還讓學生通過閲讀Lisa參加萬聖節化粧舞會的小故事讓學生學習了mask, ugly, Halloween這三個詞彙,同時,拓寬學生視野,讓他們談論在什麼節日或什麼場合我們會開展化粧舞會。因此,這課的設計的確從知識、能力及人文素養方面均做了適當的拓展。

目標要求課題研究

教學過程Revision

a song:. Review the words of clothes.

2. Ask Ss some questions.

What does the man buy? Why does the man buy the clothes? Tell Ss that the man wants to go to the Fancy dress party.

3. Play a game called 30s’ non-stop talking.

Say the same kind of the words: dress and big. Give them 10 seconds to think about it then begin.

Presentation and practice

1. Show Ss the picture of blouse and the word of blouse. Then turn the word blouse into trousers. Use the same way to teach gloves. Read the new words together and make phrases with new words.

2. Let Ss find out the same points between shoes, jeans, socks, gloves, shorts, trousers. Tell Ss that these words are always appear in pairs. Pay attention to the plural forms of the party.

3. Teach the story time.

Task 1: Before the party. Look at the picture of Su Hai and Su Yang and imagine what they will say. Ask them to pay attention to the plural form of trousers. Teach the word too and make more sentences.

Task 2: At the party. Enjoy a song < Party Time> first and go to the party with Su Hai and Su Yang. Talk about the big black cat by using too.

6. Read the chant after the computer.

7. Make a new chant by changing the underlined words into plural form.

Eg: Whose? Whose? Whose dresses are these? They’re mum’s. They’re mum’s. They’re mum’s dresses.

8. Read after the computer. Ask Ss to read the text worriedly, happily and admirably.

9. Ask some Ss to read and act it out. If they can read or act it correctly, they can get one star. If they can read or act it correctly and fluently, they can get two stars. If they can read or act it correctly, fluently and vividly, they can get three stars.

1. Group discussion. Let Ss imagine that if they are at the party and try to act it out by using their own clothes.
