一、教學內容

1.詞彙(略)。

2.句型:1)Everything begins to grow in spring. 2)It's best to wear cool clothes. 3) It is/lasts from~to~.

二、教具

錄音機;幾件厚大衣和幾件夏天穿的衣服。

三、課堂教學設計

1.複習值日生報告

教師通過提問,複習十二個月份的名稱:

T: How many months are there in a year?

Ss: There are twelve.

T: What are they?

Ss: They're January, February, March…

教師可插問:

T: How do you spell“January”?

Ss: J-a-n-u-a-r-y, January.

教師將該詞寫在黑板上,其他詞依次插問學生如何拼寫。教師書寫時,要有意識地按四季中月份的分配寫,即某個季節的三個月份要寫在一起,留到下面用。

2.打開書,學生看圖。藉助圖片,教授本課生詞。可用如下句子啟發學生:

T: There are four seasons in a year. (手指書上插圖) They're spring, summer, autumn and winter.

放慢語速,重複兩遍。領讀生詞。

T: Now look at the first picture. It's spring. What can you see in this picture?

(啟發學生回答:)

SS: We can see birds, green trees and flowers.

T: Right. It's warm in spring. Everything begins to grow.

按此種方法,由圖1至圖4將四季的特點過一遍。其中,拿出準備好的夏裝來展示cool

clothes;冬裝來展示warm clothes。

領讀所有生詞,反覆多遍,直到學生初步掌握為止。

3.放課文錄音,學生跟讀三遍。

4.利用黑板上已寫好的十二個月份的名稱,來教授以下句型:

T:(將黑板上幾組詞整理成下面的形狀:)

用較慢語速説:

In China,spring is/lasts from February to April. Summer is/lasts from May to July. Autumn is/lasts from about August to October and winter is/lasts from about November to January.

可將be from…to/last from…to等句式寫在黑板上。學生聽懂後,可隨教師指揮,自己試説一至兩遍。

5.指導學生做練習冊習題。

6.佈置作業

1)抄寫生詞、短語及圖畫中有關四季特點的句子;2)完成練習冊習題。

四、難點講解

1.Everything begins to grow.萬物開始生長。

begin to do sth.開始做某事。例如:

When she reached home she began to do her homework.她到家後,開始做作業。

2.It's very hot in summer. 夏天天氣很熱。

句中代詞it指天氣。

3.It's best to wear cool clothes. 最好穿涼爽的衣服。

It's best to do sth. 最好做某事。句中的it是形式上的主語,真正的主語是動詞不定式短語 to wear cool clothes.

4.It lasts from May to July. 夏天從五月持續到七月。

句中的last是動詞,表示“持續”。
