1.［原句再現］You are good at talking to people. 你擅長與人交談。

［要點解析］be good at 意為"在......方面做(學)得好；擅長於......"其中at 是介詞，所以be good at後面要跟V-ing形式。

［知識拓展］be good at 後還可跟名詞或代詞。例如：

Irfan is good at football. 伊凡擅長踢足球。

［特別提示］be good at = do well in，因此上面所出現的句子可依次替換為：

①You do well in talking to people.

② Irfan does well in football.

2. ［原句再現］ I want to help the people who are sick. 我想要幫助那些生病的人。

［要點解析］want後跟動詞不定式，意為"想要做某事"。

［知識拓展］want後還可直接跟名詞或代詞。例如：

I want the book. He wants it, too. 我想要這本書，他也想要。

［特別提示］want = would like, 因此上面所出現的句子可依次替換為：

① I would like to help the people who are sick.

② I would like the book. He would like it, too.

3. ［原句再現］ I hope to have a great family when I'm older. 我希望當我成年時，我能擁有一個大家庭。

［要點解析］hope後面跟動詞不定式，意為"希望做某事"。

［知識拓展］hope後面還可跟that引導的賓語從句，that可省略。因此I hope to have a great family when I'm older. 可説成：

I hope (that) I can have a great family when I'm older.

［特別提示］"hope to do"形式不能隨便使用。只有當主句的主語與從句的主語相同時，才可使用"hope to do"形式。
