2. 掌握並演示連環畫中對話內容。

Step I Lead-in
教師用多媒體或投影儀展示自己旅遊時的照片,導入“旅遊”這一話題。教師向學生提問:Where was I? Do you like traveling?
Step Ⅱ Presentation
1、教師説:Lots of people like traveling.Our friends Eddie and Hobo also like traveling.They'll go on a trip for their holiday.Will Eddie have a happy holiday? Why or why not? Let's listen to their conversation.讓學生看課本第24頁的漫畫,聽錄音並回答問題。
2、教師再播放一遍錄音,讓學生跟着錄音朗讀對話,回答細節問題。
(1)Where is Eddie going?(He is going on a trip to South Hill.)
(2)Does Hobo want to go too?(Yes,he does.
(3)What does Hobo want to bring?(He wants to bring everything with him.)
3、學生分角色朗讀並準備表演,鼓勵學生根據自己的想象添加內容。
Step Ⅲ Presentation
1、教師問:Have you ever been to any places in your holidays? Where did you go? Do you know any famous places of interest? 讓學生自由發言,説出自己已學過或去過的名勝地名稱。
2、用多媒體或投影儀展示本課中風景名勝的圖片,並呈現旅遊地的名稱,適當加上一些英文介紹。
Mount Fuji It is in Japan.There is snow on the top of this mountain.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa:This tower is in Italy.It is leaning.
The Little Mermaid It is a statue of a girl in Denmark.The girl has a fish's tail instead of legs.
The Statue of Liberty It is in New York City, USA.It stands for liberty.
The Tower Bridge It is a large bridge over the River Thames in London.It has twin towers.
3、將全班分成兩人一組,完成課本第25頁A部分的練習。全班一起核對答案。
4、組織學生討論旅遊時人們從事的活動,呈現see the beautiful view等。
5、讓學生兩人一組,談論每一張圖片。參照課本第25頁B部分的對話,討論設計新對話。
S1:What's this?
S2:It's the Great Wall in China--a symbol of China.
S1:What can people do there?
S2:They can see the beautiful view there.
Step IV Group work
1、組織學生進行四人小組討論,為Eddie和Hobo安排旅遊地點和活動。教師可以這樣説:There are many places of interest in the world and people can do a lot of activities there.Where will Eddie and Hobo go? What can they do there?
2、請三至四組學生把他們的安排講述給全班同學聽。
導入“旅遊”話題,激發學生興趣。
要求學生只能聽,不允許看書以便達到鍛鍊聽力的目的。
補充一些其他的旅遊勝地。
參與有關“旅遊”話題的討論,可發表自己的觀點。
學生帶着問題去聽對話內容。
