past的用法及搭配

一、past用作形容詞

1、用作定語 ～+ n.

For the past few days he has been ill.

幾天以來他一直生病。

These things happened in the past years.

這些事情都發生在過去的年代裏。

2、用作表語 S+be+～

Winter is past.

冬天已經過去了。

The Second World War was past.

第二次世界大戰已經結束了。

二、past用作名詞

The past is us look ahead.

過去的`事已成過去,讓我們向前看吧。

三、past用作介詞

The time is ten minutes past eight.

四、past用作副詞
