剛開始種的時候，吊蘭還很嬌小，葉子像翡翠那般碧綠，葉子的.中間還有波紋樣的葉脈。慢慢地，在我的精心照顧下，它越長越大，從可愛的小姑娘長成一個大家閨秀了。再然後，它就開始繁殖起自己的下一代：它從根部抽出了許多枝條，枝條上先開出一些白色的小花。花謝後，枝條的頂端就會長出新的小吊蘭。我把小吊蘭剪掉後，就可以培植更多的吊蘭了。
At the beginning of planting, Chlorophytum is still very small, the leaves are as green as emerald, and there are ripple like veins in the middle of the leaves. Slowly, under my careful care, it grows bigger and bigger, from a lovely little girl to a big girl. Then, it began to breed its own next generation: it drew many branches from the root, which first produced some small white flowers. After the flower is withered, a new Chlorophytum will grow on the top of the branch. After I cut off the small Chlorophytum, I can cultivate more Chlorophytum.
最近學習繁忙，我好些天沒給吊蘭澆水了。有一天，我突然發現吊蘭葉子的頂端變成了黃色。我覺得很奇怪，心想：這是不是因為沒澆水引起的?於是，我請教了電腦“師傅”：原來，吊蘭喜水，在生長旺盛期要保持盆土完全濕潤。如果泥土太乾，會導致葉叢暫時褪色，再次澆水後才恢復原色，而葉尖則可能永遠變成棕褐色，大大降低觀賞價值。且吊蘭喜歡較高的空氣濕度，所以在夏秋氣候乾燥時，要通過噴水等措施來增加植株周圍的空氣濕度，否則葉片頂端邊緣也可能出現枯焦。

If the soil is too dry, it will cause the leaves to fade temporarily. After watering again, the leaves will return to their original color, and the tip may turn brown forever, which greatly reduces the ornamental value. And Chlorophytum prefers higher air humidity, so when the climate is dry in summer and autumn, measures such as water spraying should be taken to increase the air humidity around the plant, otherwise the top edge of the leaf may also appear scorch.
