enter的用法

r的基本含義是從外邊到裏邊,以人作主語時指“走進”“進入”,以物作主語時指取路通過某物,特指過密的`、有阻力的物質。enter引申可指進入某一時代或階段,如某一學業、經歷或程序的開始等; 也可表示參加某一團體或組織,成為其中的一員。

r可用作不及物動詞,也可用作及物動詞。

（1）用作及物動詞時接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接以“(as+) n. ”充當補足語的複合賓語。

In our country, children enter school at the age of six.

在我國孩子們六歲上學。

I could not enter the university.

我進不了該所大學。

（2）用作不及物動詞

The headmaster entered, followed by some teachers.

校長進來了,後面跟着幾個老師。

They stopped talking as soon as they saw him enter.

他們一見他進來就停止了談話。

r可用作系動詞,接形容詞作表語。

r後接介詞for可表示“參加”; 接in可表示“收入”“記入”“使入學”; 接into可表示“參與某活動”“進入某種狀態”; 接on可表示“進入某時期、年代”“着手處理”“開始考慮”; 接up則表示“記下”。

5.用作賓補動詞 S+～+ pron. +(as) n.

They entered him (as) a member.

他們吸收他為會員。
