I enter tile university after years of hardstudy and preparation(準備). But life in the university is not as satisfactory(滿意) as what I had expected. I become lazy and don't want to study.I become silcent. I become puzzled. I don't know what I can do in the future. Then I become unhappy.

英語一分鐘演講稿

Four years in the university is only a short period when compared my whole lifetime. Now it has passed a half. In this year, many people ,such as my parents,my friends, ask me what I want to do and tell me to map out a plan for my life. I don't want to follow their suggestion, and I want to go my style. So I think carefully. I have been a young volunteer(志願者) for five 's very happy and significant. Then I have a dream.I want to join the University Student Volunteers Go West Programe. I think I can be a teacher in the west.I want to try my best to help them and help me. I want to see the world cearly. Now I can't reach its demand and it's very diffcult, but I will work hard in the next two years. There is an old saying"where there is a will, there is a way.(有志者事竟成)"I think my dream can come in the university I mature, and in the university I prepare for the real world.

At last,I want to say to everybody"Hlod fast to your dreams,no matter how big or small they path to dreams may not be smooth(平滑) and wide, even some sacrifices(犧牲) are hold on to the end,you can find there is no geater happiness than making your dream come ture."

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon !Today the topic of my speech is “Discover myself”

I think each people is yone is different .I don’t need to envy others, because I think I am the only one in the do u really know yourself? In my parents’eyes,I am a naughty boy. In my friends’ eyes, I am a friendly my teachers’eyes,I am a boy which how do I think of myself?I don’t know.

Everone has merits and shortcomings. we need to discover our disadvantages and get rid of it . However, Lookers-on see most mentors are elementary school, I didn’t know the importance of studying.I just know playing all day my english teacher told me (that) she thought I was a intelligent boy.I was shocked by what she said.I didn’t do well in my english subject at that time.I was encouraged by what she other words, what she said made me e then,I fell in love with English.I started to read some English novels and listen to english teacher taught me patiently and encouraged me to insist on doing these.I was interested in english.I found it was easy to learn does’t like I thought it would be e I had talent in learning ver,if I don’t listen to my english e I would get lost.

Everybody should have confidence in discovering yourselves, although it is a difficult there is a will, there is a way.

We Are The World ,We Are The Future

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.

As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

英語一分鐘演講稿5

Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said "I love you and I wish you enough"

The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom" They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking "Did you ever say goodbye to someone knowing it would be forever?"

"Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking but why is this a forever goodbye?" "I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is -- the next trip back will be for my funeral" she said.

"When you were saying goodbye, I heard you say 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?" She began to smile "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone".

She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. "When we said 'I wish you enough' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them".

Then turning toward me she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory --

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

She then began to cry and walked away. They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.

英語一分鐘演講稿6

ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! im very glad to stand here and give you a short speech。 today my topic is “youth”。 i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it。

first i want to ask you some questions: 1、 do you know what is youth? 2、 how do you master your youth?

youth

youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness it is the freshness of the deep springs of life 。

youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease。 this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 。 nobody grows old merely by a number of years 。 we grow old by deserting our ideals。

years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul 。 worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust 。

whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game of living 。 in the center of your heart and my heart theres a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young 。

when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80。 thats all ! thank you!

I love wearing T-shirts and I want to wear one everyday.

英語一分鐘演講稿8

I remember that when i was in my teens, i used to rebel at many of the “do’s” and “don’ts” my parents used to dictate to me. for example, when i kept on playing jazz records on the record player, my father used to condemn such music as sheer noise and replace them with disks of classical music that i always considered extremely dull.

My mom and dad were also very particular about the friends i went out with, always quoting the maxim the “one rotten apple could ruin a whole barrel of apples.” when i insisted that i sleep with my pet dog peppy, they immediately said no because they thought that i would be bitten by e are just a few examples of many of the things that i thought my parents were ueasonable about. today, however, i am also the father of a boy of fifteen, and i find that i, too, am pressuring my son with a lot of rules and regulations that he seems to find hard to swallow. the other day, i noticed that my son’s hair was altogether too long, so i told him to go to the barber’s and get it trimmed short. ordinarily, he is fairly obedient, but this time he put his foot down.

“What’s wrong with long hair?” he said. “all my buddies have long hair. and besides, it’s my own hair, isn’t it? i don’t think you have the authority to order me to cut it short, even if you’re my father!”

When i was a boy, if i had spoken with such impertinence to my father, i know that he would have given me a good thrashing. but i suddenly realized that we are now living in a more liberal world, and that my son’s insistence on wearing his hair long was merely an instance of the generation gap that existed between us. so i relented, and so he still wears his hair long.、

In this symposium, better is it to only sit in silence. To express one's feelings as the end draws near is too intimate a task. That I would mention only one thought that comes to me as a listener-in: the riders in a race do not stop short when they reach the goal, there is a little finishing canter before coming to a standstill, there is time to hear the kind voice of friends, and to say to oneself, the work is done. But just as one says that, the answer comes, the race is over, but the work never is done while the power to work remains. The canter that brings you to a standstill need not be only coming to rest; it cannot be while you still live. But to live is to function, that is all there is in living. So I end with a land from a Latin voice: death, death, clutches my ear, and says, live, I am coming.--By Oliver Wendell Holmes

Beauty

Hi everybody.

Beauty usually refers to what appeals to the eye. A nice and well built girl is regarded as beautiful. A bunch of vigorous flowers are also considered as beautiful. A splendid waterfall coming down from a mountain is as well looked on as beautiful.

Beauty also refers to what appeals to the mind. The virtue of the Chinese nation-industry and bravery are taken as beautiful, because it helped to produce such a magnificent culture in the world. Einstein's theory of relativity is also perceived as beautiful, for it explains many natural phenomena so perfectly.

Beauty is around us. If you keep an eye or pay some attention, it is never difficult to find something beautiful somewhere about you. Wonderful natural spots, historical relics, fine arts, splendid buildings, and kind people are just a few inches away.

thank you.
