電影講述的是抗日戰爭時期幾個鄉村農民跟日本鬼子鬥智鬥勇，最終將他們趕走的故事，故事的情節十分生動、有趣，時不時地讓人開懷大笑。記得有一個情節，有許多小日本讓一頭驢駝着一個大箱子過一座橋，箱子裏裝着一箇中國農民，小日本在橋中心放了一個炸彈，當驢到橋中心，突然停了下來，撒了一泡尿，將炸彈熄滅了，氣得日本鬼子在橋邊乾瞪眼。
還有一次，一個日本鬼子不小心掉下河，一個人拉住他的褲子，不讓他掉下去，結果露出了紅內褲，當他費了九牛二虎之力爬上來時，紅內褲卻引來了牛，結果，這個倒黴的日本鬼子被牛追來追去，樣子可滑稽了。
