Many people prefer to travel by air. This is because air travel has some advantages. In the first place, airplane, the miracle created by man, is the fastest means of transport. They look after passengers all the way to their destinations. Moreover, on long distance flights there are films and music for people to entertain themselves.
As a popular saying goes, “Everything has two sides.” The same is true of air travel. It has some disadvantages, too. For one thing, air travel costs a great deal. The average Chinese are not rich enough to afford expensive air fares. So they prefer to take trains, which save a lot of money. For another, although passengers are assured of their safety, they are still worried about it during the journey because flying always involves more or less risk.
As far as I am concerned, the advantages mentioned above exceed the disadvantages. If I were given choice between traveling by air and traveling by train, I would certainly prefer the former. For me, time is money and it is the most important thing I have to take into consideration whatever I do.

My Imaginary Trip Around the World
If someone offered to pay all my expenses for a month＇s holiday anywhere in the world, I would feel very surprised and excited. It would be difficult to decide where I wanted to go. Should I go to one place or lots of different places? If I went to one country, I could see and understand a lot about it. If I went to lots of countries, my holiday would be more interesting and more exciting. I think I would decide to fly around the world and to visit three different countries. The countries I would visit would be Australia, the United States of America and Kenya.
If I went to Australia, I would stay there for about two weeks. I am sure it would be very interesting to visit a country which is so different from my own. Before I went there, I would write one of my Australian friends. After I had stayed two or three days in New York, I would fly to San Francisco. I hope I could stay with my relations who live there and I would visit the city and other parts of California.

If someone offered me this money, I would he amazed. Unfortunately, 1 do not think this will ever happen and I doubt if I shall ever visit these countries.

Last summer, Mom and Dad took me to Dongshan and Xiamen to play, so I spent an unforgettable summer vacation, written in 450 words.
We first ride to the Dongshan, we see the vast boundless sea and beautiful seaside scenery. The most interesting is the famous scenic spots of Dongshan.
