在我的世界裏，有一根救命稻草——英語。為什麼説英語是救命稻草呢？聽了你一定驚訝。
我們以前的學校確切的説，根本沒有教英語，因為教了上學期，下學期就沒有指望了。可以説是‘上氣不接下氣’呀！因此我把英語當成最重要的一門學科。
我之後在蘆外讀書，看見蘆外這麼大，心想：這裏的老師肯定深藏不露，定有奇特的教學方法，否則，不可能搞這麼大，大約都 1 公頃了。在這裏肯定很難有機會講小話了。我心裏雖然無可奈何，但又無處撒野。我該怎樣才能逃過這如來神掌，我該給老師一個下馬威，還是老師會先給我一個下馬威呢？先下手為強，後下手為弱。這句俗語我是知道的。於是，我選擇了先給老師一個下馬威。誰知，上第一節課竟是英語課，我最喜歡的一門功課，使我給老師下馬威的念頭已煙消雲散了。我全神貫注地聽着老師講的每個單詞，每句話的意思我都詳細地做好了筆記。
哎呀，咋整的呀？竟然沒有給老師下馬威！我又記起來了，我拿以前的學校與現在的學校進行了比較，我們家那邊既然沒有英語，在這裏不好好珍惜的話，以後就沒有機會了。於是，我把英語當成了我在懸崖邊上抓着的稻草，剛好人們丟稻草時，有些沒有掉下去，反而成了一株救命的`稻草。因此，我上英語課時總是全神貫注的，不敢有絲豪的馬虎，也正是這種對英語的渴望與熱情，才促使了我的英語成績經常得A+的原因。
